Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a top brand that is known for its top-of-the-line refrigerators. Their counter-depth French door models blend with your countertops to give them an integrated design. The refrigerators are quiet and efficient. They also have a smart-home feature which lets you control them with your phone or tablet.  french style fridge freezer  comes with plenty of storage space for your food items and leftovers. This model features an ice maker that can make fresh, clean ice in a matter of minutes. It's simple to use too. The ice and water dispensers are inside the fridge instead of in the front, so they don't obstruct the sleek look of the exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage, including juice and sports drinks. The refrigerator is made of a tough stainless steel that is resistant to scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're concerned about smudges on your surfaces, you can use an item that cleans fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

This refrigerator is spacious with 20.5 cubic feet of space inside and includes Bosch's exclusive FarmFresh System with four cutting-edge freshness technology to keep fruits, vegetables and leftovers in good condition for up to three times longer than average. The temperature of the freezer is near perfect, too, never varying less than a fraction of an inch from the ideal.

While the Bosch refrigerator is pricier than the GE Appliances model, it offers more features, making it worth the extra money. It has a door-in door storage area where you can keep small quantities of food in a bin which can be placed right inside the refrigerator's door. It also comes with a convertible compartment that has five temperature settings for various kinds of snacks, drinks and meat. The Bosch refrigerator also comes with an intelligent home feature called Home Connect that allows you to control it remotely from your tablet or phone.

The only downsides to the refrigerator is its flimsy main drawer and the difficult-to-use door latch on the right. The fridge is otherwise a great option for single households and kitchenettes which require more storage space than the typical French-door refrigerator. And the stainless steel makes a stunning addition to any kitchen.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth fridges are compact and offer plenty of space. Counter-depth refrigerators are more affordable than standard-depth French-door fridges, and they could remove the necessity for an under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView counter-depth refrigerator (LMWC23626S) isn't an exception, offering the capacity of a standard refrigerator in an elegant, modern design, with an integrated dispenser that makes it easy to access filtered water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious of space and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelf that can hold taller items. The bottom of the fridge is stocked with crisper drawers, and the deli drawer with its full width is ideal for meat and fresh produce.

A recessed ice maker can be found located on the back of the refrigerator, which saves space and makes it easier to store an additional bag of ice. The refrigerator has door cooling systems that uses vents on the fridge and freezer doors to push cold air in. It prevents hot spots and ensures the temperature of the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It offers ample space to feed a family, but we found a few annoying issues. First the freezer drawers don't stay as cold as we would like. The temperature of the middle drawer climbed to 41° during our maximum use test, which is sufficient to freeze ice cream or other frozen foods. The temperature in the rest of your freezer was at about 36 degrees.

Another issue is that the refrigerator doors have sunken handles both on the inside and under making it difficult for those who are smaller to guide them closed. It may seem trivial, but we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators, which make them easier to open and shut.

The fridge is expensive, but it's well worth it for anyone who wants an ultra-modern appearance in their kitchen. This refrigerator is recommended for those who want to upgrade their current refrigerator or those who are building new homes and want a seamless look for their kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The RF23M8090SG is Samsung's most recent and most elegant counter-depth French door fridge, priced at $4,200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well during our cooling test, however we're not a fan of the gimmicky handles or fragile crisper bins.

One thing that distinguishes the RF23M8090SG apart is its Bespoke line, which lets you customize your fridge using removable color panels which can be swapped whenever you get tired of the current ones. There are 11 colors to choose from that range from soft pastels to bolder hues and four metallic finishes. These panels can be customized to include photos or text. This makes the fridge more personal and can be matched to your Rick Owens dress, Andy Warhol banana neon, or tie-dye Crocs.

The LED lighting can be changed to a different color, which is a nice option. The interior of the refrigerator is finished with a sophisticated finish that helps reduce smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The only real flaws of the RF23M8090SG are its cramped beverage center, and a little learning curve to open the door-indoor feature, which houses a water dispenser as well as a pitcher. You have to feel for an opening on the side of the door that is halfway across, and when you have it, it opens another door inside the fridge that contains the docking station for the pitcher as well as the water dispenser, and two shelves for drinks.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen food items, and it features an impressive slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food item you're looking for without opening the whole compartment. The freezer also has an open-air compartment that can be used to store small items, as well as a large capacity storage drawer that can store larger quantities of frozen food. The drawer can be locked using the use of a password to keep out unwanted guests and also has an LED light that is handy to let you see what's inside in glance. The freezer's also able to track energy use and help you cut your energy consumption with the smart-enabled SmartThings Energy mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators add a sleek appearance to any kitchen and are a good fit in various sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option if you're looking for this look, but without the added height. We've tested a lot of them, and this Frigidaire model has a higher than average score in our rating system for its affordable price and thoughtful features such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has a few annoying problems. Our test data shows that the FGHB2866PF is able to warm up quite a bit in the freezer, and it could get uncomfortable warm on the refrigerator's outermost shelves. This is evident in our heat maps, which show how the internal temperatures vary from minute to minute. The orange area on the top right, representing the butter bin, is especially warm for most of our time of testing. It might not seem to be a problem initially however, the fridge spends most of its time above 32 degrees.

It's important to note that this model isn't Energy Star certified, which could be a major consideration for some buyers. The issue is that this refrigerator isn't a great choice. It's lacking advanced features and durable construction which makes it difficult to recommend it over more expensive models at this price.

In many ways, the Frigidaire is a stainless-steel version of a fridge you might see on display at your local appliances store. It's a great option with a brushed finish that looks great and is resistant against smudges. However it's not able to differentiate itself from competitors that are more feature-rich and more affordable.

If you're looking for a counter-depth French-door fridge but don't want to spend a lot of money then the FGHC2331PF might be worth considering. It's got enough storage to meet the needs of many families and does a great job at keeping food fresh. And even if it isn't an energy-efficient model, it doesn't come close to costing as much as our highest-rated models do.
