This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It provides ample space to feed a family, but we noticed a few unsettling quirks. The freezer drawers are not as cold as we'd like. The temperature in the rest of your freezer remained at around 36 degrees.

It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well in our cooling tests, but we're not fans of its polygon handles that are gimmicky and the bins with a crisper design feel a little flimsy.

Bespoke is a feature that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It lets you personalize your refrigerator with removable colored panels. There are 11 colors, ranging from pastels to more vibrant hues. There are four metallic finishes. The interior of the refrigerator is finished with a sophisticated finish that reduces smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The RF23M8090SG's only real knocks are its somewhat congested beverage center and some learning curve in opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water pitcher as well as a dispenser. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators are an excellent addition to any kitchen. They look neat and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option if you want this look, but without the added height. This model from Frigidaire which we've thoroughly tested and has received an above average rating in our reviews due to its low cost and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has some annoying problems. Our tests show that the FGHB2866PF can warm up quite often in the freezer and get uncomfortably hot in the innermost shelves of the fridge. Our heat maps show how temperature fluctuates minute-by-minute. The orange region in the top right, representing the butter bin, is particularly warm for most of the time we tested. It may not appear to be a problem at first however, the fridge is spending the majority of its time at 32 degrees.

It's worth mentioning that this model is not Energy Star certified, which could be important for certain buyers. The issue is that it's just not a great refrigerator, and the absence of top-of-the-line features and durable construction makes it difficult to recommend over more expensive options in this price range.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is like the stainless steel version you might find in the local appliance store. It's a great option with a brushed finish that looks great and is resistant against streaks. However it's not offering much to differentiate itself from rivals who are more feature rich and less expensive.

If you're seeking a counter-depth French door refrigerator but don't want to spend a lot of money, the FGHC2331PF could be worth a look. It's big enough to meet the needs of the majority of families and does a good job of keeping food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient unit, it's still a lot cheaper than our best-rated models.
